A bitter orange aperitivo made for the classic spritz — bright citrus, a gentle bitter edge and sunshine in a glass. Top it up with bubbles and soda for the perfect festival sipper.

Set between the Simonsberg and Paarl mountains and named for the frogs that live in its wetlands, Anura crafts Cap Classique with the same care as its celebrated reds — fine, fresh and elegant.

Certified organic and aged an incredible seven years on the lees, Avondale's Cap Classique has rare depth, finesse and elegance. It is arguably the closest South African MCC to a truly great French Champagne.

Known as the rebels of the wine world, Black Elephant Vintners make MCCs that pair fun with absolute elegance. Built for the South African palate, they are dry in style but with just a whisper of fruit sweetness. The range is instantly recognisable through its bold colour identity — Tiffany blue, baby pink and all black — bringing as much personality to the bottle as there is in the wine.

Made in the cool maritime climate of the Garden Route, this Brut Rosé is fresh, crisp and wonderfully refined — a perfect balance of elegance and celebration.

This delightful blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir has fine bubbles that carry aromas of green apple, lemon zest and white blossom, with a hint of toasted brioche from minimum 2 year on lees. The palate is vibrant and dry with a flinty minerality and refreshing finish. Celebrate life’s quiet moments or festive milestones – with a sparkle in every glass.

A dry Sauvignon Blanc sparkling wine with a balance of creamy texture, nutty richness and a hint of green melon. A favourite for many!

Run by Jane Ferreira-Eedes, Dainty Bess concentrates on a single wine. The project began in 2009 when Jane’s parents made a bubbly from a small vineyard at Klein Optenhorst in Wellington; Jane later renamed it Dainty Bess, one of her mother’s favourite rose types. Delicate yet focused: harmonious, dry and delicious.

Just twenty minutes from Cape Town on the foothills of the Tygerberg, De Grendel has been farmed since 1720 and in the Graaff family’s care for five generations. Cooling Atlantic breezes over the slopes make it prime terroir for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and cellar master Charles Hopkins puts both to work in the estate’s Cap Classique range. The Brut Cap Classique is a Chardonnay-led blend aged 14 months on the lees — fine bead, biscuity richness, citrus and crisp green apple. The Proposal Hill Brut Rosé, 100% Pinot Noir and bone-dry, brings strawberry and black cherry over a fine, persistent mousse.

Perched on the slopes of the Durbanville Valley with views across Table Bay, Durbanville Hills makes the most of cool Atlantic breezes and long, slow ripening. Their bubbly is fresh and elegant — crisp fruit, a fine mousse and plenty of finesse.

The House of GM&Ahrens crafts Cap Classique in the heart of Franschhoek, where the French method meets meticulous South African craftsmanship. Refined, beautifully presented bubbles made for slow, stylish celebration.

At Kanu, there's a bubble for every occasion — from the vibrant Angelina Pinot Noir and elegant Giselle Chardonnay Cap Classiques to the showstopping Angelina Gold, South Africa's first with 24-carat edible gold flakes, created in tribute to 50 years of Cap Classique. Inspired by their mythical Bird of Promise, with an exciting new chapter already waiting in the wings.

Champu Cap Classique — Named Champu, Kay's pet word for Bubbly, our Cap Classique is the perfect complement to any occasion! Our 2018 vintage is 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc and is deliciously fresh & fruity with a lingering brioche finish.

From the Helderberg slopes in Stellenbosch, Ken Forrester’s reputation is built on Chenin Blanc — and the Sparklehorse carries that into bubbles. It’s 100% Chenin off mature, unirrigated vineyards planted in 1975 (Old Vine Project certified), grown on a cool site that keeps the acidity bright. Made in the traditional Cap Classique method and aged 18 months on the lees, it delivers a creamy texture and delicate mousse alongside fresh apple, pear and quince. An easy celebration bubbly that also sits happily with light creamy chicken and fish dishes.

Le Lude, a wine farm in the picturesque Franschhoek Valley of South Africa’s Western Cape, follows an ethos committed to its founding family and the crafting of naturally bottle-fermented sparkling wines, known as Cap Classique. Today Le Lude builds on this important vinous tradition by specialising in Cap Classique, ensuring that grapes expressing site and terroir are coaxed into a premium product of unrivalled excellence. Innovation in the cellar and the restless, uncompromising pursuit of perfection in the bottle have made Le Lude one of the world’s most exciting new producers of Cap Classique, a wine becoming internationally renowned for finesse, elegance and refinement.

A historic Stellenbosch estate at the foot of the Simonsberg, Lievland Vineyards pairs old-vine heritage with a modern, precise hand in the cellar. Their bottle-fermented bubbles are crafted for finesse — crisp, elegant and quietly confident.

A true Cape expression of sparkling wine, shaped by minimal-intervention winemaking that lets the fruit and place speak for themselves. Fresh, vibrant and unapologetically modern, it's all about honest bubbles and easy enjoyment.

MAN began in 2001 as a weekend project between José Conde and brothers Tyrrel and Philip Myburgh, named for their wives Marie, Anette and Nicky — 300 cases in a tractor shed, now one of South Africa’s most recognisable value labels. Their fruit comes from dry-farmed, sustainably certified Agter-Paarl vineyards, many of the growers now shareholders in the business. The MAN Cap Classique Brut is traditional-method and made from Chenin Blanc, the variety the house is best known for — stone fruit, pear and Granny Smith on the nose, fresh quince and lively lime on the palate, with biscotti and sourdough depth from its time on the lees.

One of the oldest estates in the historic Tulbagh valley, Montpellier de Tulbagh has been making wine for over two centuries. This year the estate pours three Brut Cap Classiques, all from the 2018 vintage yet each quite different in character. The Pinot Noir is the driest of the three, while the Chardonnay is a classic Blanc de Blancs reminiscent of the great Champagnes of France. The Viognier is the most unusual — fruity and floral on the palate, yet still unmistakably brut.

A long-established family estate on the slopes of the Simonsberg near Paarl, farming wine across generations. Their Cap Classique is a generous, approachable bubbly built for easy celebration.

A Franschhoek house devoted to the art of Cap Classique. Its bottle-fermented bubbles are elegant and finely beaded — crafted purely for the love of the sparkle.

“Bubbles have consumed my life” — Pieter Ferreira. Widely known as Mr Bubbles, Pieter has been making bubbles for 30 vintages. With his wife Ann, he has released their first own-label MCC — called by Christian Eedes “categorically the best bottle-fermented sparkling wine I’ve ever drunk from South Africa.”

Five distinct expressions, one uncompromising philosophy. Our Cap Classique collection is defined by meticulous craftsmanship, time on the lees and a relentless pursuit of balance, resulting in wines with remarkable finesse, vibrant freshness and enduring complexity. Each bottle offers its own unique character while sharing the unmistakable precision and elegance of Quoin Rock.

Börls is proof that exceptional wine can still be fun. Made by a passionate female winemaker, it's bold, quirky and perfect for sharing with good company.

Farming in the Villiersdorp valley since 1714, the Stettyn family are now eighth-generation vintners. Their sparkling carries that long heritage into the glass — graceful, fresh and made for celebrating.

A Stellenbosch sparkling wine brand on a mission to disrupt a polished, predictable category. Van Hunks crafts both traditional Cap Classique and premium Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Wines with the same care and precision — bold, energetic and unapologetically different, proving bubbles don't have to play by the old rules.

Weltevrede — “well satisfied” in Afrikaans — has been in the Jonker family since 1912, when Klaas Jonker planted the first vines at the southern edge of the Robertson Valley. Four generations on, fourth-generation winemaker Philip Jonker has built the estate’s reputation on terroir-driven Chardonnay and Cap Classique, helped by fossil-rich limestone soils that are rare in South Africa and lend the Chardonnay real minerality and the Pinot Noir a bright, focused acidity. The historic underground cellar, once used for ageing muscatel, now houses the MCC racks, and the estate’s Captivated by Cap Classique tour was named the world’s most innovative wine tourism experience by Great Wine Capitals.

The Wilson family’s vineyards in The Crags make the most of Plettenberg Bay’s cool, sea-breeze climate — a small, hands-on farm producing bright, crisp Cap Classique with a true Garden Route character.

From the cool Bot River valley in the Overberg, Wildekrans is a family estate making characterful, terroir-driven wines. Their Cap Classique reflects the region's maritime freshness — bright, fine and made for the table.
