The Line-Up

Estates Joining Us

From boutique Sparkling Wine producers to celebrated Cap Classique estates, these are the brands pouring at the 2026 Bubbly in the Bay Festival.

Bramon
Cap Classique

A dry Sauvignon Blanc sparkling wine with a balance of creamy texture, nutty richness and a hint of green melon. A favourite for many!

Lords
Cap Classique

Their MCC Brut stands apart with a 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir blend — a combination most wineries reserve for their Rosé — delivering elegance and refreshing flavour, while their Brut Rosé is a rare 100% Pinot Noir, bursting with unexpected character and a beautiful pink hue. Both are crafted with zero dosage and no added sugar after disgorgement, letting the wine speak entirely for itself.

Kanu
Cap Classique

At Kanu, there's a bubble for every occasion — from the vibrant Angelina Pinot Noir and elegant Giselle Chardonnay Cap Classiques to the showstopping Angelina Gold, South Africa's first with 24-carat edible gold flakes, created in tribute to 50 years of Cap Classique. Inspired by their mythical Bird of Promise, with an exciting new chapter already waiting in the wings.

GM & Ahrens
Cap Classique

The House of GM&Ahrens crafts Cap Classique in the heart of Franschhoek, where the French method meets meticulous South African craftsmanship. Refined, beautifully presented bubbles made for slow, stylish celebration.

Kay & Monty
Cap Classique

Champu Cap Classique — Named Champu, Kay's pet word for Bubbly, our Cap Classique is the perfect complement to any occasion! Our 2018 vintage is 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blanc and is deliciously fresh & fruity with a lingering brioche finish.

Merwida Wines
Cap Classique

This new release from Merwida celebrates the delicate art of the Cap Classique bubble and the incredible joy it brings the drinker. With its light yeasty aromas, limey fresh fruit on the nose and rich creamy complexity on the palate, this Cap Classique is perfect for any celebration.

Montpellier
Cap Classique

One of the oldest estates in the historic Tulbagh valley, Montpellier de Tulbagh has been making wine for over two centuries. Its Cap Classique carries that heritage in every bead — classic, poised and quietly elegant.

Black Oyster Catcher
Cap Classique

A boutique, family-run farm at Elim — the cool southernmost tip of Africa — named for the rare coastal bird that thrives along this windswept shore. Cool-climate fruit gives their Cap Classique a crisp, mineral, sea-fresh character.

Black Elephant Vintners
Cap Classique

Franschhoek's most playful winemaking crew, known for serious wine wrapped in irreverent, good-humoured labels. Their bottle-fermented bubbles bring the same joyful, don't-take-it-too-seriously spirit to the glass.

Van Hunks
Cap Classique

Named for the legendary Jan van Hunks, whose smoking duel with the devil is said to have wrapped Table Mountain in its famous cloud. The brand pours that mischievous Cape spirit into a lively, characterful bubbly.

Pieter Ferreira
Cap Classique

The boutique label of Pieter ‘Mr Bubbles’ Ferreira — who shaped South African sparkling wine over three decades — and his wife Ann. Tiny production and a lifetime's mastery go into these precise, elegant Cap Classiques.

Wildekrans
Cap Classique

From the cool Bot River valley in the Overberg, Wildekrans is a family estate making characterful, terroir-driven wines. Their Cap Classique reflects the region's maritime freshness — bright, fine and made for the table.

Quoin Rock
Cap Classique

A luxury Stellenbosch estate with cool-climate vineyards reaching down toward Cape Agulhas. Quoin Rock's Cap Classique is all precision and finesse — refined, complex and beautifully presented.

Dainty Bess
Cap Classique

A single-wine labour of love by Jane Ferreira-Eedes, named after her mother's favourite rose. Dainty Bess is a 100% Pinot Noir Blanc de Noir Cap Classique — delicate, fruit-driven and quietly luxurious.

Niel Joubert
Cap Classique

A long-established family estate on the slopes of the Simonsberg near Paarl, farming wine across generations. Their Cap Classique is a generous, approachable bubbly built for easy celebration.

Lost Boy
Cap Classique

A boutique bubbly with a free-spirited streak, joining the 2026 line-up as one of the fresher faces in South African Cap Classique. Full tasting notes coming soon.

Clos Malverne
Cap Classique

A Stellenbosch family estate best known for its celebrated Pinotage and Cape Blends. That red-wine pedigree shows in their Cap Classique — a bubbly with depth, structure and real character.

Sparkle Horse
Cap Classique

The playfully named Cap Classique from Ken Forrester Wines, Stellenbosch's celebrated ‘King of Chenin’. Made from Chenin Blanc, it's a fresh, characterful and distinctly South African take on bottle-fermented bubbles.

Spijker & Bessie
Cap Classique

A small Cape producer whose Börls Cap Classique Brut is a classic Champagne-style blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and a whisper of Pinot Meunier. Honest, hand-crafted bubbles with plenty of charm.

Paul René
Cap Classique

A Franschhoek house devoted to the art of Cap Classique. Its bottle-fermented bubbles are elegant and finely beaded — crafted purely for the love of the sparkle.
